There are as many ways to enjoy a Stacay Tour as there are places to go in the world, but here are suggestions for you from one end of the spectrum to the other.
No matter how you take your Staycay Tour with us:
Just get comfy, and click on a destination. We’ll take you through our carefully curated tour stops for your destination.
If you don’t have a lot of time, pay special attention to the tour stops with the special icon -- it highlights the big-ticket items.
To help our tours be as real as they can be from the comfort of your home, many include those elements of travel we do in the real world like flights in to our destination, train or bus transfers, looking around our hotel, walking from one site to another -- these won’t have the big-ticket item icon, but they’re fun for getting a better feel for the place!.
You know how sometimes you get to a vacation tourist spot and it’s not quite what you had hoped for so you rush through it? Yeah, you can do that here. Just skip forward in the video (or skip past a whole tour spot) if it isn’t your thing. We won’t mind at all.
Do you plan your vacations months in advance? Do you research the foods you’ll eat, the language you’ll speak, how the locals dress, and what migratory birds will be around while you’re there? Well, Travel Master, lay it on for your Staycay tour as well!
Going to London? Bake some crumpets ahead of time and make a pot of tea right before you start so you can have both on hand to snack on while you’re enjoying the tour stops! Put rain gear by your chair, because it rains in London about a third of the year. Listen to a live London radio station while you’re touring around (and while we can’t make the tea and crumpets for you, we often DO provide a link to local music along the way in some tours!).
And don’t forget to take selfies of yourself along the way! Pause a video on that perfect landmark, get your screen behind you, and snap a pick to remember your staycay with! (Don’t forget to post it! #StaycayTours will show you off as a true adventurer in stay-at-home travel!)
